Welp… looks like the Curry Family Reunion didn’t even make it to tip-off. Seth Curry — yes, the younger, quieter, discount-brand Curry — just got waived by the Golden State Warriors. After two weeks. Two weeks! Not even enough time to learn which tunnel Steph walks through to get to the locker room.
Sources say this was a “strategic move” for cap space, but let’s be real — it sounds like the NBA version of “It’s not you, it’s me.” They said “You’re family, but not $2 million worth of family.” 💅🏽
And poor Seth probably thought he was finally gonna share the spotlight with Big Bro Steph — side-by-side warmups, twin splash celebrations, maybe even a wholesome Curry Family Christmas Card. But the front office said, “Mm, not too much.”
Now he’s floating in NBA limbo like, “So y’all want me back or nah?” Meanwhile, Steph’s probably at practice like, “I told y’all not to make it weird.”
Let’s just hope they don’t pull a full-on soap opera and sign him again mid-season for that “brotherly redemption arc.” (Because you know NBA Twitter will eat that up.)
Until then, Seth’s new position? Free Agent / Family Group Chat Ghost.

Moral of the story: Blood might be thicker than water, but NBA contracts are printed on paper. Would you take being waived by your own brother’s team personally — or just ask for courtside seats and keep it cute
