Episode 5 is giving… identity crisis. Like who is this show even about at this point?
We start with Clarke, who is clearly the only one with a real storyline. She’s locked in on securing brand deals and leveling up, and honestly? Respect. She and Hannah talk about how limited Oklahoma is for opportunities, and LA is starting to look real tempting 👀
But it’s deeper than that—Clarke admits she’s been taking care of Taylor, and now she wants to finally focus on herself. Growth! We love to see it.
Meanwhile, Austin (aka recovering addict Phineas) pops back up and updates the guys. No shade… but why does he still look like a grown-up cartoon character? Moving on.
The girls—Bell-a, Coco, Gracyn, and Adrienna—link up and clock the tea: they’re being excluded. Hannah sends out invites to her Christmas party (fake vibes already), and Coco claims her and Chris are “on the same page”… girl, are they though?
Also—Bell-a casually drops that Austin is talking to her friend. Mess loading…
Back to Clarke and Taylor, who have the LA + long distance conversation. Taylor says he’ll support her, which is cute… but we’ll see how long that lasts.
🎄 THE PARTY FROM HELL
Now THIS is where the mess kicks in.
Pepe shows up to Hannah’s party and tries to be cordial with Jeremiah… and gets curved. Awkward.
Chris invited Pepe, but the energy is very much “we don’t want you here.” Bell-a is the only one being real and tells Pepe to go talk to Iris and TJ like an adult.
And then… chaos.
🚨 TJ, IRIS & PEPE: LIARS UNITE
TJ comes in HOT—aggressive, loud, doing the absolute most. Talking about “receipts” and “timelines” like this is a court case.
Pepe is confused because… what is he even being accused of?
TJ claims Pepe lied about not knowing Iris was going to see him. Pepe says that’s false.
Then here comes Iris, backing TJ up… but not convincingly at all.
- TJ says he has text messages (screenshots… 🚩)
- Iris says her phone is “dead” (but we literally SEE it on… 🚩🚩)
- The alleged texts include something wild and explicit (messy and unnecessary tbh)
- Pepe denies it ALL
When Pepe tries to show his actual messages? TJ suddenly doesn’t care to look. Oh.
Then Iris starts crying… and the math is NOT mathing.
Even in her confessional, she’s hesitating, uncomfortable, and clearly not standing ten toes down in her story.
🤨 FINAL THOUGHTS (BECAUSE WHAT WAS THIS?)
This whole situation screams:
- selective receipts
- fake outrage
- and production pushing the WRONG people to the front
And let’s be real…
Nobody is invested in Iris, TJ, or Hannah like that.
They weren’t fan favorites in the villa, so why are they the center now?? It’s giving forced storyline and mean girl energy with no payoff.
Meanwhile, the people we actually care about are barely getting shine.
