We’re back in Potomac-land (or wherever Bravo shipped them this week), and the ladies are still playing messy musical chairs with their friendships and feelings.
Stacey vs. Ashley: The Chris Samuels Chronicles
Ashley starts off grilling Stacey about “dating” Chris Samuels. Stacey’s like, we’re just friends. Ashley says Chris told her Stacey was trying to get with him — and Stacey hits her with the “look at me” flex. Angel tries to defend Chris, saying he’s not that type… even though she barely knows him. Girl, be for real.
Then Stacey drops a bomb — she’s back with her husband. Cue the ring flash 💍. In her confessional, she tells us that she isn’t worried about cankles and forehead aka Gizelle and Ashley.
Wendy’s Birthday Bash Turns Into “Truth or Tequila” 🍾
The girls gather for Wendy’s birthday. Kay goes to bed early (and honestly, we get it). The rest play Truth or Drink, and things get wild.
Wendy admits she once found a woman at Stadium attractive. Jazzi admits there was cheating “in the past.” And when Wendy asks Angel who she’d kill… Angel says Gizelle. 💀
Suddenly Angel has jokes, shots, and a personality — all after Kay left the room. Hmm.
Morning Tears & Half Apologies 😭
The next morning, Kay comforts a crying Angel, who’s still upset over Gizelle calling her a “catfish.” Gizelle walks in, Angel breaks down again, and Gizelle apologizes (sort of). She says it wasn’t “body-shaming,” just “face talk.” Girl, that’s… still bad.
Kay tells Angel she’s beautiful and still breastfeeding (which, fair — but also, Bravo editing is messy because the pic they showed ain’t the same one the blogs posted 👀).
Excursions, Shade & Emotional Rollercoasters 🚌
Gizelle plans an excursion, but the drama follows. Ashley and Kay have a heart-to-heart about not re-engaging with the group, while the rest gossip about who’s bringing the “mood down.”
Then during their Alexander Hamilton tour, Wendy turns a history lesson about a friendly duel into a read about fake friendships. We see you, sis.
Jazzi and Tia notice Angel’s personality disappears whenever Kay’s around. Producers even rewind footage showing Kay and Angel bonding over mutual annoyance with the group. Angel claims she’s “good on everyone except Kay.”
Meanwhile, Wendy calls out Ashley for being “Captain Save-Joe” and ruining Gizelle’s love-life moment.
Gizelle’s Man Mystery & Money Bags 💵
We get tea that Gizelle’s man Sean Springs has met one of her daughters 👀 — it’s looking serious! Angel brags her man Bobby dropped $5k in her account just for fun. (We see why she’s smiling again.)
Shopping, Steel Drums, & Sick Days 🛍️
The girls hit a party bus and then a shopping trip. Wendy catches a bug but still soldiers on for a steel-drum lesson. Gizelle and Stacey check on her with Gatorade and Goldfish — a friendship first!
Then Stacey texts her ex “sex” and he seems interested. After that she sends him a picture of her self and he tells her wrong number. 😂 Only on Bravo.
Sunshine, Shots & Final Shade ☀️
At Sunshine Bar & Grill, Angel jokes about being “on the menu” again. But things turn tense when Gizelle tells Kay that Wendy was hurt she skipped her birthday dinner. Kay claps back that she was tired and upset about how her friend Angel was treated.
The final showdown? Kay vs. Jazzi. Kay calls out Jazzi for gossiping, and Jazzi exposes that Kay told her not to trust Wendy. Whew.
And just like that — episode 5 wraps with half apologies, half shade, and a full serving of mess.
💋 AGP Takeaway
Angel’s tears might be real, but her loyalty’s confusing. Kay’s friendship résumé is getting short. Stacey’s back with her man but still throwing shade like a single woman. And Gizelle? She stays unbothered — and allegedly boo’d up.
